Can I bring my dog, and on which trails?
Limited accessLeash: 6 feet maximum, at all times.

One trail, plus developed areas and the lakes.

Leashed pets are welcome on the Rainy Lake Visitor Center Recreation Trail, at frontcountry campsites and day-use areas, on developed grounds and boat ramps, and on the lake surfaces (open or frozen) where motorboats are allowed.

Where dogs are banned

All other trails, backcountry campsites, the Kab-Ash primitive sites, tour boats, and visitor center interiors.

Service animals are allowed where pets are not, under the ADA. A leash is still required.
