The South Rim Trail (mostly paved) above the rim, developed areas, and Mather Campground.
Where dogs are banned
All below-the-rim trails, the North Rim lodging area, park buildings, and shuttle buses. A kennel is on the South Rim.

Leash rule
6 feet maximum, at all times.
Service animals
Service animals are allowed where pets are not, under the ADA. A leash is still required.
Where to go instead
Nearby Kaibab National Forest allows leashed dogs on trails.
