Where dogs are allowed
Leashed dogs are welcome on more than 100 miles of hiking trails and 45 miles of carriage roads, plus the Park Loop Road.
Where dogs are banned
A few ladder and rung trails (Precipice, Beehive, Jordan Cliffs), swimming areas, ranger programs, and inside buildings.

Seasonal closures
Some trails close in spring and early summer for peregrine falcon nesting.
Leash rule
6 feet maximum, at all times.
Service animals
Service animals are allowed where pets are not, under the ADA. A leash is still required.
